We provide thorough exams.

Good dentistry starts with the most thorough exam we can perform. A routine new patient exam includes any needed x-rays, a periodontal (gum tissue) exam, head and neck exam, oral cancer exam, and an exam of your teeth, your bite, how you open and close, and more. Some exams require making stone models, taking a digital scan of your teeth, or taking photographs of your teeth. To help us provide the best exams possible we offer digital x-rays and CT (sometimes called 3-D) imaging when needed. This keeps radiation exposure very low while giving us the best diagnostic tools available.

We provide appropriate options.

A thorough exam will give us confidence in providing you with appropriate options for your treatment. Our job is to provide you with all the information we can find, in terms you can understand, so you can make the choice that is right for you. We will remind you that you do not have to decide immediately. You may want a second opinion, or you may want time to talk to family, friends, or someone who may be familiar with your situation. No matter what you decide, we’ll be happy to care for you.

It is a lot of work to complete dental, hygiene, or assisting school- but that is just a starting point. Technology changes rapidly, research papers are published daily, breakthroughs are made in dental materials. Things are changing fast. We work hard to make sure we give you our best.

• We keep our office up to date with our technology. This includes soft tissue lasers, advanced air filtration, our own self-contained water treatment system, digital x-rays and CT imaging, digital scanning, and more.
• We take learning seriously. Our whole staff attends conferences and lectures led by the people that write the textbooks that are used in school. We take hands on courses to learn new techniques or procedures.
• We stock the best materials we can find. Dental materials can be sourced from nearly anywhere on the planet. The safest and best materials are not always the least expensive, but the safest and best materials are mandatory for us.
